Bzura Named to All News Herald Basketball Team

2017-18 All News Herald 2nd Team Matt Bzura, Cabrini: One of the area’s best all-around athletes, Bzura was a bright spot for Cabrini in 2017-18. The senior served as a leader and he averaged 11 points per game. He has signed on to play football at Ave Maria University in Florida.

Gym Renovation Project Underway

The Cabrini High School gymnasium will be getting a face lift this summer.  Three major projects are are currently underway and have been graciously funded by the Cabrini Athletic boosters. New Boys Basketball Coach Brings Wealth of Experience

Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach Opening

Cabrini High School is seeking a head boys varsity basketball coach for the 2018-19 season.  Interested candidates should email a letter of introduction, resume and a list of references to Athletic Director Dean Allen at dallen@cabrinicatholicschools.com. Cabrini defeated the visitors from Detroit Universal 61-38 on Thursday night. The Monarchs defeated the visitors from Austin Catholic 57-14 on Tuesday night. The Monarchs were led by Chris Lucas, Bobby O’Guin and Zane Surma who all scored 10 points. The Monarchs scored their first Catholic League victory of the season by defeating Austin Catholic 68-17 on the road Friday night.
