Five Monarchs Named to All News Herald Volleyball Team

Congratulations to the following volleyball players on making the 2017 All News Herald Team. Arden Fuchs- A huge senior season for Fuchs earned her Class C Second Team All-State honors. The middle hitter and two-year team co-captain finished with 531 kills, 74 aces, 191 digs and 132 total blocks and she served at 89 percent.

Volleyball Finishes Runner Up in CHSL Final

The 2017 CHSL C-D championship game featured a perennial volleyball powerhouse, led by a veteran coach. It also featured a squad in the finals for the first time, guided by a coach in her first season at the helm. In the end it was rookie coach Malia Gabel and her Wixom St. Catherine Stars (32-2-2)

The Cabrini Monarch Varsity Volleyball team took the Gold home on Saturday the 9th at the Wyandotte Roosevelt Invitational.  Cabrini opened the day against Wyandotte beating the Bears in the first set 25-22 in a back and forth battle.  The second set was no different with both teams exchanging points until Wyandotte took control and defeated the Monarchs
