Wayne County Cross Country Results

The Cabrini boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Wayne County Championship meet Saturday October 7th.

The race ran Division 1-4 schools combined. The girls team placed 18th out of 22 teams and the boys team placed 25th out of 30 teams. The meet was won by Plymouth on the boys side and Salem on the girls side.

Leading the girls team was Sydney Deblander (52nd pace, 21:42), Erin O’Neill (105th place, 24:06), Mikayla Trumbla (120th, 24:48), Alana Maffesoli (128th place, 25:14) and  Megan Carr (134th place, 25:49). The girls race had a total of 167 runners.

The boys race had a total of 204 runners. Leading the boys team was Michael Graf, with his personal best time of 17:58, which placed him 75th overall. Directly behind Graf was teammate Mitchell Russelburg (84th place, 18:08) and Dylan Ortiz (104th place, 18:42). Rounding out the squad was Adam Berthiaume (181st, 21:45) and Gregory Pomponio (183rd, 22:04).
